Canoes Plus was established in 1972 and is now the largest canoe and kayak store in Australia. Based in Melbourne, we are proud to provide kayak instruction through Canoes Plus Kayak School and Adventure Experiences. With the addition of our canoe hire and Club, we are sure to cover your every canoeing need. From absolute beginner to  Olympic medalist, we are the place to come to.

We have taught school groups for over 50 years, from our inception as the board of Canoe Education, through Canoe Kayak Education Australia to Canoes Plus Kayak School, which now incorporates AFK ( Andrew Farrance Kayaking). Our experience is extensive in providing your goals and outcomes, and our instructors are incredibly experienced. Our customers receive a higher level of service and information as we are dedicated to what we do.

We also coach at an elite level, as well as coach and accredit Coast to Coast athletes (level 2). We can teach you to race slalom, Wildwater or Coast to Coast and you can learn from coaches who have competed at a World Championships level for years. We are also the on-water specialist for your School or club excursions, journeys and experiences.  Nobody does it better!! Plan your school program or journey with us - we can deliver one day or multi-day adventures.  We can offer multi-sport trips including hiking or biking or a pure water-based adventure tailored for outdoor education or Duke of Ed programs.
